Pastor Doug is a third generation minister, ordained by the Church of God.  He received his seminary education at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, TN where he earned his Master’s degree. Pastor Doug has served as an Administrative Pastor, Senior Pastor, Chaplain, and Evangelist since surrendering to God’s call on his life.  Prior to moving to Markleysburg to serve as the Senior Pastor of New Life Covenant, Pastor Doug and his wife Lynda led churches in Alaska and Illinois and evangelized in several states all across the country including Illinois, Iowa, Tennessee, and Alaska. 

Pastor Doug & Lynda have been married since 1995.  They have two children – Micah and Casey. Together, Pastor Doug and Lynda are a dynamic team who have been in ministry since 2008. Their heart is to see people truly encounter the one, true, living God and experience His incredible love and grace through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Lynda received her Master’s degree in Education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and is a gifted musician/singer with a dynamic personality. She loves to lead people into the presence of God through music and has served as a worship leader, teacher, and children’s pastor.

Kenneth Steele has been working in children’s ministry at New Life Covenant Church since 2007. He received his master’s degree in Elementary Education from California University of Pennsylvania and his undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from Lee University. Before beginning full time at the church, he was a 1st grade teacher.  He is currently serving as the Family Life Pastor, serving both the children and youth.  He also serves as daycare director at The Learning Center.    

Kenneth and his wife Heather married in 2011. They have a daughter, Savannah, a son, Jackson, and a new baby due in May. Heather serves as a billing administrator and teacher at The Learning Center and has an array of experiences ranging from graphic design to office management.

Kenneth and Heather have a heart for youth. Their goal is to see them grow closer to Christ and become Godly men and women who will lead others to Christ.
