Boxes of Hope

"Boxes of Hope" was born out of seeing a need within our elderly/disabled population locally here in Fayette County. Individuals who are able to ambulate independently can go to local outreaches and food pantries, but those with disabilities fall through the cracks! these are the individuals Boxes of Hope serve. We began delivering our first Box in October, 2011. Since then, we deliver about 20/Boxes a month to elderly/disabled/home bound individuals. Through generous donations from individuals, and smart couponing, we are able to keep costs down and keep Boxes full! Our volunteers along with Graffiti Youth are what help make this ministry a success!

This year instead of doing the twelve months of the year, we will be doing a Theme Party. Each host or hostess will choose a theme (i.e. golfing, beach, picnic, Christmas, hunting, etc.). We are also encouraging the men to host a table or attend this year's event!
- Select a theme
- Sell 8 tickets (covers the cost of admission and lunch)
- Provide a centerpiece for auction
- Prepare an appetizer for your guests
Everyone will be able to take part in our fun, fast-paced, live auction as well as the Chinese and silent auctions.
Proceeds are used to minister to women of our community and surrounding areas through our annual Women's Conference held in the fall. Proceeds will also alow the Women's Ministry to support our teen girl's events as well as meet various missions needs that arise throughout the year.
So grab your gal-pal or hubby, and hit the signup table to get registered as a host/hostess. If you don't host a table, please make sure you find someone who is hosting so you can secure your ticket to this year's Theme Party. You won't want to miss it.
