Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery meets every Sunday evening, 52 weeks a year!  You do not need to be a member or attender of New Life Covenant to attend a Celebrate Recovery meeting.  The purpose of this ministry is to experience God's healing power for your hurts, habits, and hang-ups. The power to change is released through the practice of the "8 Recovery Principles" as outlined by Jesus in The Beattitudes.  By working through these Biblical principles with other people in a safe, encouraging environment, participants begin to grow spiritually, and learn how to be free from the addictive and compulsive behaviors that have controlled their lives.  Celebrate Recovery helps you to discover your own personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the One and Only True Higher Power!

Celebrate Recovery Schedule:

Sunday Evening

4:30 pm - 5:30pm -- Large Group Session

Everyone meets together for a time of worship, then a recovery teaching or a testimony.  There is no pre-registration or sign-ups.  Just show up, and you will be warmly welcomed.

5:30 pm - 6:30 pm -- Open Share Groups

After the large meeting, it's time to break into specific recovery groups.  Meet others with similar hurts, habits, and hang-ups as they openly share their struggles in a non-judgmental setting.  These groups are gender-specific.

6:30 pm -- Cafe

What is a "Step Study?"

Many who start to get involved in Celebrate Recovery find that joining a step study is very helpful.  This is a gender specific group that meets on another day or night of the week, and takes the participant through the 8 principles over a 26 week period.  This is the heart and soul of Celebrate Recovery, and it is where many people have experienced true freedom and hope for the very first time in their lives.  Your Celebrate Recovery leaders have more information on these groups.
